On October 12, 2024, a D.C. Policy Center report was cited in the Georgetown Voice:

A D.C. Policy Center report found that northeast and southeast D.C. have the highest levels of environmental pollution in the District, in part due to the disproportionate presence of highly polluting businesses located near these neighborhoods.
