Angela Charles is the Director of Operations at the D.C. Policy Center, a non-partisan think tank in the District of Columbia. In this role, Angela manages the Policy Center’s bookkeeping, financial processes, and operations.
Prior to joining the Policy Center in 2020, Angela supported the team at the Southern Poverty Law Center, including scheduling legal calls and visits, event planning, and administrative support. She was proud to have been a part of some great projects during her time at SPLC, including working on the statewide solitary confinement case, Harvard v. Inch, helping to organize multiple lobby days and events at the Florida Capitol, and supporting a number of other cases and investigations.
Angela is originally from Immokalee, Florida and is of Haitian descent. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Government from Florida State University.
