At the D.C. Policy Center, we are working to gauge the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the region’s businesses and nonprofits.
To date, there is not a lot of up-to-date information about D.C.-area businesses and nonprofits that local policymakers can use to respond to the quickly changing economic consequences of this public health crisis. To that end, we have developed short, anonymous surveys on the immediate impacts that organizations and firms have experienced over the last two weeks.
The surveys are meant to gather a snapshot of how the COVID-19 pandemic is impacting the local business and nonprofit communities, as well as their concerns for the future. It is not meant to be a representative survey, but will provide valuable insights to our researchers that will be crucial to informing, though our work, the city’s response.
If you are a local business or nonprofit, we hope you will help by answering a few questions about your own organization’s circumstances and how COVID-19 is impacting you.
The deadline to complete the questionnaires has been extended to the end of the day on Sunday, March 29.
If you have questions about this COVID-19 questionnaire, or about the D.C. Policy Center or how we will use this data, please email us at data@dcpolicycenter.org or leave us a voicemail at (202) 223-2233.
