J. Tyler Anthony is the President and CEO of Pepco Holdings, the parent company of Pepco, an electric utility serving Washington, D.C., and suburban Maryland; Delmarva Power, an electric and gas utility serving Delaware and portions of the Delmarva Peninsula; and Atlantic City Electric, an electric utility serving southern New Jersey. Anthony and his team are responsible for guiding the company’s delivery of reliable and excellent service to more than two million customers in the Mid-Atlantic. Pepco Holdings is a subsidiary of Exelon Corporation, one of the nation’s leading energy services companies.
Anthony has more than 30 years of utility operations experience, including electric distribution, transmission operations, nuclear generation, project management, customer service, and labor relations. Prior to being appointed Pepco Holding’s president and CEO in November 2021, Anthony served as the company’s senior vice president of Operations and chief operating officer. He joined Pepco Holdings in 2016 from sister Exelon utility ComEd in northern Illinois, where he held roles as the senior vice president of Distribution Operations and vice president of Transmission and Substation. Anthony also served as vice president of Projects for Exelon Nuclear, executing large projects across Exelon’s nuclear fleet.
Anthony currently serves on the boards of several civic and nonprofit organizations, including the Washington, D.C. Police Foundation, the Strathmore Hall Foundation, Inc. and the District of Columbia Policy Center.
