Michele V. Hagans serves as President of the DC Building Industry Association (DCBIA). She is President and Chief Executive Officer of Fort Lincoln New Town Corporation, Inc. and Fort Lincoln Realty Company, Inc. She has single-handedly restructured and further developed her matrix of companies, which focuses on an array of real estate and business complexities. As an individual developer, entrepreneur and through strategic partnership alliances, Ms. Hagans has left her mark on nearly every quadrant of the District of Columbia.
Michele has earned four degrees at Howard University: the Bachelor of Science in 1973, the Master of Engineering in 1976, the Master of Divinity in 2006, and the Doctorate of Divinity in 2013. She earned the Master’s in Business Administration from George Washington University in 1994. Ms. Hagans is a Certified Property Manager and is a licensed real estate broker in the District of Columbia and the State of Maryland. She is currently a member of the Howard University Board Trustees. She also serves on the National Executive Board of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. as Co-Chair of the National Housing and Properties Committee.
